LAW - 784 Securities Field Component

(2-3 hrs.)

The field component is open to selected students who have completed Business Associations (LAW-611) and Securities Regulation (LAW-612) and who are enrolled in any of the securities seminars. Students work on problems with attorneys in the various divisions of the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as in the General Counsel’s Office. In addition to the assigned work, instruction is given by staff attorneys of the SEC. A minimum of 10 to 15 hours work per week at the SEC is required.
