LAW - 842 Transnational Crime and the State

(2 hrs)

Through seminar discussion, students examine transnational crime and its effect on the state. Reading assignments differ so students are exposed to the variety of material (U.S., foreign, and international) that supports this specialization. Discussion culminates in a mock intergovernmental forum to propose recommendations for future action. Throughout the semester, students also conduct independent research on topics of their choice, which they then present at the conclusion of the course.
